Our Indigenous Education Worker, Taliah Brookes, works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to maximise student’s educational outcomes throughout their secondary schooling.
The program offers:
- Education Support
- Liaison with Teachers
- Access indigenous Tertiary Education, School-Based Traineeships and Apprenticeships
- Assistance with ABSTUDY
- Access to Indigenous Services
- Cultural Events
- PACE/Trackers Queensland
- Scholarship Applications.
Students and parents have access to the Indigenous Support Place, situated in D Block, where they are encouraged to seek assistance. This can also be before and after school and during lunch breaks.
