Welcome to the Balmoral State High School P&C Association.
The P&C is an essential part of the school community, and it is made up of dedicated parents and community members who want to contribute to the management and improvement of our school.
The P&C is managed by an executive committee who, with other P&C members, work closely with the school Principal for the benefit of the students at the school. Attending P&C meetings provides an opportunity to hear from the Principal and other senior staff, share your ideas and experiences and discuss the issues that concern you.
Balmoral SHS P&C operates the school tuckshop and uniform shop. P&C members suggest and implement positive changes at the school – and the funds we raise have a lasting impact in supporting school activities.
P&C General Meetings are held on the third Monday of each month during term time, in the Admin Centre (A Block) with online attendance available via a Teams link. Meeting details are provided in school communications and on social media channels.
The P&C Annual General Meeting is held each year in March where all positions are vacated for new nominations. We encourage all parents to join our P&C – as they say, many hands make light work! Simply complete the membership form here.
Key membership information:
- Being a P&C member does not mean that you must attend all meetings. We understand families have busy schedules and sometimes it is physically impossible to commit to attending. We just ask for you to be involved when and where you can.
- You do not need to attend a meeting to become a member of the P&C. Simply complete the membership form online.
- Parents are not required to hold a volunteer blue card in order to volunteer at their child's school. Any other family or community member who is not a parent is required to hold a volunteer blue card, in which the P&C are happy to assist with applications.
