Balmoral State High School is a catchment managed school. The Principal is responsible for all decisions on enrolments and may request any additional documentation or conduct other enquiries deemed necessary to satisfy enrolment eligibility criteria.
All students, whose principal place of residence is within the school's catchment area, are entitled to enrol at the school. To find out if you reside in our catchment area please see the

The Principal must restrict out of catchment enrolments to ensure in-catchment students can enrol at their local state school. Applications from students outside of catchment will be considered where vacancies are available.
Students who excel in academics, music or sports are encouraged to apply for an Excellence program.
