Community Education Officer – Deanne Broome

Our Community Education Officer, Deanne Broome, works with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students to maximise student’s educational outcomes throughout their secondary schooling. 

The program offers:

  • Education Support
  • Liaison with Teachers​
  • Access indigenous Tertiary Education, School-Based Traineeships and Apprenticeships
  • Assistance with ABSTUDY
  • Access to Indigenous Services
  • Cultural Events
  • PACE/Trackers Queensland
  • Scholarship Applications.

Students and parents have access to the Indigenous Support Place, situated in D Block, where they are encouraged to seek assistance. This can also be before and after school and during lunch breaks.
